Nicola & Liam

Our Story

A little bit about you both:

Myself and Liam have been together 6 years now.

We met in our local pub and we are both from Drimnagh, Dublin.

Tell us a bit about the proposal:

Liam asked me to marry him in my favourite restaurant.

He then told me later that he had planned to pop the question in Cancun, but unfortunately covid hit so we never made it.

What suppliers did you work with?:

We had some amazing suppliers.

Our band we amazing, The Favours, would highly recommend them and they had the dancefloor full the whole night.

Loved by bouquet it was fab, got them from Flowers by Jane, she's amazing at what she does

I got my selfie mirror sparkle dancefloor candy card etc from Carolyn Sweets, again another amazing supplier brilliant to deal with.

The beauty parade:

Make up by Michelle Twomey, was stunning and lasted the whole day. Hair was by Leah Byrne, she is so talented and my hair was still perfect the next day

Something old, somethig new?

I borrowed a candle holder from my friend and had blue piece in my bouquet which belonged to my best friend who passed away in January

The Big Day:

Tulfarris for ceremony and photographs

Dinner was unreal, everyone is still talking about how nice the food was, especially the beef, my mam said it was the nicest she ever had!

We had Chicken and Mushroom Vol au Vent, Veg soup, Main were Turkey or Beef and deserts the assortments of desserts

Each dish was fab!!

My most memorable moment has to be walking up the isle and my first dance which was unchained melody

Post Wedding celebrations:

We stayed the second day just had dinner and a few drinks with a few close friends and family.

Why did you choose Tulfarris?:

We had been to two weddings here previous and we both loved the food the venue etc so we both knew we wanted there.
